I love the relationship between Arnaud and Julien. Julien's hatred for Arnaud, founded in ignorance, melts away as the two get to know each other. Arnaud is a sympathetic figure: an introvert who was embraced against his will by somebody he trusted, a reject from all society because of circumstances beyond his control, and someone who feels lonely.

He wants companionship, perhaps even romance. However, that's complicated by a couple things. First, he needs to drink blood once a month. He prefers consenting partners, but he can't predict how they'll react. Sometimes they get aroused and expect the act to turn to sex, but Arnaud gets no pleasure or thrill out of the experience. He is also ace, which he struggles to explain to people who expect more out of him. I loved playing out how he interacted with someone who hates and misunderstands him, the two growing closer as ignorance and hate  gives way to compassion.

My only complaints are that 1) getting to the good ending is obscure, as one of the important decisions is a seemingly innocuous  choice, and 2) the game ends abruptly.

Still, loved what I had out of it and I recommend checking it out.
