  • -good research over all, showing the process of character art development, more could be added to the reflections part of the document. Some key feedback on the final asset: -over all clean edges, could use less poly density on the top half of the character, especially around the arms and waist. -Nice final concept with and interesting choice of color separation. -Could use some material definition between the skin and the cloths – through sculpted surface detail or in the textures. .lighting is moody and dramatic but could use an alternative colored rim light to help make the model pop over all and fit in with the stylistic vibe. -over all clean model so well done
  • You have produced a character using the typical process of character creation as done in the industry. Its looking quite good, but ive explained a little underneath where you could use more practise to develop in the future. Your sculpts although show the form and faces quite well, could use more work to produce that real organic feel of bone, then muscle, then flesh sculpted to appear that way. Its nice, but perhaps some anatomy studies, short sculpts of say a arm, a torso, a head in pose, might be interesting tasks to perform to learn more on the program and gain a feel of deeper anatomy and the sculpting in general in zbrush. Topology works, but could use more flow, this is mainly down to researching the flow of topology and where it should bend. You have unnecessary pinching in the cheeks, the bottom doesn’t have as many loops as it could have to deform well. And the jacket has quite a bad flow to it. But it did work for your model. So don’t feel disheartened, just know that you don’t know yet what you don’t know, and it takes time to learn the craft fully. So keep it up! To be able to create and follow a character process from start to completion, even creating the concepts, is a hard process, which you clearly have shown capable off, just keep practising, be aware of the problems you have had, and work on them in the next models! Look forward to seeing more from you in the future!
