Neat little minigame for what it is.

  • Mechanics aren't very well telegraphed up front, but are simple enough to be relatively easy to learn during play.
  • I like the dynamic progression from stage to stage, introducing new elements like the ironing board. Maybe make each transition a "stage clear" animation!
  • Artstyle is neat and simple in a refreshing way, though it could be a little bit more ambitious. The music gets a bit repetitive but it's nice.
  • The inventory icons for the 'storage' at the top tend to clip with the top of the screen, at least in certain resolutions. I didn't test this super thoroughly, but I recommend you add a bit more padding to the edges of the screen!
  • Maybe help subtly guide the player's focus without holding hands, with an arrow pointing to which receptacle (or whatever the socks' destinations are called) has a closest to 0 timer, and little 'imminence' animations (like little shaking).
  • The screen feels a bit empty, which could be broken up with some decoration, background/texture/tile variety, and HUD elements like a simple score counter or 'global timer' (just the min of every receptacle's timer). Even just a simple floor tile pattern would do wonders!
  • There is a small delay between when all receptacles are cleared and when their timers and requests are reset. This is mildly unnerving. I think the timers should freeze or be notched up immediately upon this event. This would be the perfect opportunity to put that 'stage clear' animation, with some stars or something!

For what is essentially a bite-sized, laundry themed Overcooked, this game fulfills all its basic goals. I like it and would recommend other people check out your body of work as well :3
