I am working on a science fantasy adventure involving a burglary of a wizard-king's mansion located within an ancient city built on the ruins of an even older city. However, I've noticed that the jam specifies "Adventures should be set in futuristic ruins filled with fantastic technology and wondrous magic." While the city-state of Yultor where the mansion is located does fit the general theme of ruins, I'm not sure if the mansion itself fits the description closely enough. Does this fit the guidelines of the jam well enough or would something approaching a more traditional dungeon crawl be more appropriate? I was inspired primarily by the Zothique and Dying Earth stories of Clark Ashton Smith and Jack Vance respectively with regards to the overarching setting.
