Hey, just checked out your game for the jam.

Totally invested in the characters and the story - I felt like I was playing an episode of Red Dwarf which was a really cool surprise.

There does seem to unfortunately be a game breaking bug where the game freezes after checking the door of the control room when Craig and Abale are speaking of the captain's reticence to do something about the invader. I am going to guess one of them is trying to get back in the room but the player is standing on the entry tile and so the game freezes up.

If you update the game in the future I would absolutely love to play more and get to an ending, I'm totally hooked.

That said I think there's enough here for me to give fair feedback and rating.

I really like all the custom graphics and especially Maya's portrait, she's super cute! I thought everything was on point, visuals, audio, gameplay and the story moved from point to point nice and smooth.

Overall amazing job, can't wait to play more!

Hello, thank you for checking out our game I am happy you enjoyed it.

First of all can you tell me more about the bug exactly? since i went and played it again and it works normally.

In that part when you try to go out, the dialogue between the two plays normally then Maya moves a few steps back and Abale shows up and the game continues normally.

From what i think happened to you, you moved to the door but instead of your character facing left, you made it go down or up and the trigger of the character couldn't go back.

If you ever play it again, make sure to keep the character facing left. Since i am inexperienced with rpg maker, i am not sure to fix what to do when this happens but i will see.

Yes I think that may be correct. In the Move Event command of the event you can tick a box called Skip if Cannot Move and the movement of the event will be skipped if it backs them into a wall for instance, allowing the event to continue as normal without the event continually trying to move onto an impassable tile (like a wall) or an event with a priority Same as Character and freezing up the game.

Thanks for letting me know the player is to step back, it means I know how to continue on now so I'll play again.
