thanks for the criticism i really appreciate you taking the time to play my game. Maybe i should have put an opening cut scene so theres just a little bit more context, but i wanted the player to be confused upon opening the game. I wanted it to feel like your being dropped smack dab in the middle of an unfinished story. As for the town feeling like its a paper town that is also intentional. Im not sure how far into the game you played but your supposed to feel like you are playing a bad game because you are. Anyways thank you again for playing i hope you enjoyed some parts of it.
- I wonder if its okay to submit a project made in MV, this is a contest using MZ, after all
- Dialogue needs some serious work in terms of grammar, and punctuation, and as for the shouting guy, some small screen shakes or him jumping could make him "scream louder" so to speak.
- You might wanna turn on the spikes' direction fix only when they can be interacted with using the action key.
- No intro cutscene or some sort of paralogue?
- Very sorry, I didn't feel like staying to play the whole thing...
Thank you for your criticism I'll definitely keep the grammar in mind and the shake screen is definitely something I didn't think about. Witch is a little bit embarrassing especially because I use it later on in the game for another seen, but other then that everything else is by design. I'm obviously not going to spoil why that's the case but not everything is how it seems.
