This game was really fun to play! I was relaxed at first, enjoying the first few minutes of exploring the universe, puzzle solving, and trying to guess what people need, but then my panic started to set in when the enemies started to follow me. Kind of felt like doomsday omg, (and I was SO determined to not be in my room when the timer went down only bc the enemies kept teleporting me back in!)

The art was really cute and endearing, and the wordless story telling was definitely something I was not expecting!

I'm at my first playthrough and I'm wondering if I managed to solve all the puzzles correctly or not, I feel like that big room of flowers and enemies keep calling to me... overall, I really enjoyed the experience!

Yayyy I’m happy that you enjoyed the art and that it was clear enough to convey meaning whatever the interpretation!

Thank you so much for the lovely review Haru!!! ^_^

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the review! If you solved all the puzzles it’s like you got the “good ending” so the protagonist’s expression will be one of happiness, but there’s a room that was specifically made to represent wasting time

I’m glad you had fun with the game :)

OH so I think I got the good ending! I got so stubborn with that room, but that must've been the room that consumed the rest of my time! It was really fun, thank you for the fun experience!

Wow,  what a nice game!

First of all, a note for the artist of the game; you did very well with the artwork! And it was a pleasant surprise to find out you are an Arab Muslim (because me too) but I also could've guessed from your username being Hummus. (maybe eating Hummus might make me a better artist?) Now, I'm not sure if he also did the sprites. I find the sprite work very simple and charming, but also a bit stiff. Try experimenting with the edges by erasing the rough sharp bits (like when you make a square in pixel art and its got a sharp corner just erase that on some parts you want to appear softer)

Now for the game itself; I liked it alot! It was certainly beyond my expectations as I have to guess what to do to find each thing. My only complaint is the chasing enemies do not EVER stop chasing which make the maze somewhat impossible for me. But that might be my only complaint. I really liked the quiet atmosphere of having to guess the way to obtain what everyone wants as opposed to having it told me clearly. Its also the kind of story where I feel like I can put together an idea of whats going on instead of a clear idea and I like that very much. I see the story as a girl who's dreaming and only has 16 minutes to attend to all the people of the dream. It was very charming and very unique. I hope to see such a concept explored in the future again. Overall; I gave you 4 stars for the theme as it fits in quite nicely, 4 stars for the gameplay because despite the lack of words i was rarely confused and its very cool you pulled that off, 4 stars for engagement because it caught my attention for every quest, and 3 stars for presentation because the simple style and the artwork from Hummus are very wonderful and lovely but the pixel art was a bit rough. Very amazing game from Stirkexd and Hummus! I wish you both luck in the jam. This game deserves top five!

Thank you very much for your opinion!

In fact, the art made by Hummus was very beautiful, I was very happy to work with him.

About the sprites, I was the one who did it, I admit that I tried a new style and that I was not yet used to lol, but I certainly intend to make everything more polished in the future, as for the chases, they really get more intense as time goes by, in the future I intend to leave some way to make them stay still in a second attempt.

oh sorry I didn't know hummus was a dude I'll edit my comment now. Also the sprites are still good anyway so it's not something to be super worried about. Good luck in the jam

Actually I don’t know either, I ended up writing “he”, but I don’t really know, my mistake.

Thank you :)

A fellow muslim!! السلام عليكم ^w^

IM SO HAPPPYY YOU LIKED THE ART!!! I had the pleasure of designing the charecters and drawing the cutscenes (opening, ending and the charecter cutscenes! Does that count as spoilers…?) while the developer Stirkxed did the pixel art! I’m sure we both learned a lot from 16:00 and your comment and clear description help us a ton!! Thank you for enjoying 16:00!! ☆彡

Ps : Hummus became my pen name because of a middle school inside joke as it sounds close to my surname, I honestly don’t favor eating actual hummus tho… some may question what kind of an Arab I am… I ADORE WARQA ENAB THO! 🙈

just gonna reply عليكم السلام to Hummus. Have a great day both of you

Thanks for the comment!

I’m glad you enjoyed the puzzles and the language, I spent a lot of time thinking about how to represent all the conversations without using writing.
