Kings' Elegy
Description
Wanted to practice orchestration with this jam, since i haven't done much of this kind of music. This started as a solo project where i made the base of the piece myself, but a friend wanted to test some stuff and this ended up as a collaboration with him (link to his youtube is in the video description). I got a a sort of Main Menu vibe from the picture, so i imagined this to be in a main menu/intro Cinematic.
The whole thing was made in Sibelius notation software and the sounds were from the Noteperformer sound engine (this is a gamechanger if you like working with notation, the sound is GREAT).
I tried to use lots of triplets in the parts and had some parts quintuplets chugging along in the bass.
