- I like the concept of the game, I feel like the jumping mechanic is something already seen but it is still a good representation. I have a small comment, I know this would be tweaked an maybe it was the goal but I feel like it is way to difficult to control the rotation of the character. I like the level design, It probably is the best out of all the submissions which is a plus point. It is creative, with that being said, I was slightly expecting a bit more? since it is the group with the most people. never the less, great job, could be an actual game if polished, congrats 1:08 was my time btw (many attempts needed)
- The main mechanic is quite difficult to use since it seems to be frame-rate dependent. Time.deltatime, or equivalent macros/nodes are very useful! The game art, level-design and the music/sound-effects are great. Remember for next time to make the collision capsule invisible ;) Great work!
- Very well done ! On a personal note, i did (and still do a bit) of pogo stick, and this feels very close to reality ! (kinda hehe). On a more serious note, the art was beautiful but we could not give 5 since there were a lot of visual bugs. The level felt a bit short: i loved wall jumping with the pogo stick but it was necessary only once, which made me sad... And finally the implementation of the mechanic was nice but the frog was rotation way too fast, and I cheesed the game by sliding on the side most of the game. It still felt very rewarding to collect all three fireflies, good job !
