  • The game is held very simplistic, which is fine. I often felt that the vertical friction is too high though. The usage of a proper menu and the game detecting that the game has finished, returning the player to said menu is good practice! Learning a game engine in a GameJam is an excellent idea and doing so alone is respectable! Keep up the good work!
  • I am aware this is a one man job with a new engine but the jumps feel just like any other jump :/ sorry but for learning an engine in 5hours this is quite good already, I say keep at it!
  • Your game is very basic, I unfortunately ran into a bug multiple time which wouldn't allow me to jump anymore and i had to restart the game. Jumping toward any walls would aslo stick me to said wall, forcing me to back away (was this an attempt for a wall jump mechanic ?). However the fact that it was a game made on Godot4 even though you had little experience with this game engine made this an interesting experience. Good job !
