The car was a bit too powerful for my driving skills, but it was still fun to try and hunt down the various pieces of the OST by going down the streets. I liked the atmosphere of the night, especially the various lights on both the environment and the cars.
You raise an interesting design problem here : The top down camera / widescreen / car speed problem. I don't think your driving skills is the real issue. That's why the default city is 4x10 and not a 10x4, to take advantage of the widescreen and the few more pixels of view distance it gives you.
The old top down GTAs suffered from the same problems (its even worse I think). So I really tried my best to give the feeling of high speed without the real speed of a Testarossa (290km/h). And despite all the tricks and the complex camera behavior, I can't dezoom more without killing fps and readability and I can't speed down the car either, it's already super slow compared to IRL, so yeah, that's why a classic 3D view will always be better for this.
Thanks for riding, I didn't tried your game yet these year, I will, that's looks very biological and complex.
