Bio
John Isaiah Edward Hill is a queer, Indigenous, working class poet and artist from Hamilton, Ontario. He is Oneida nation, Turtle clan from Six Nations of the Grand River. His poetry deals with colonization, queerness, anger, hope, and the enchantment which lies beneath the surface of so-called modern civilization.

Synopsis
This is a collection of poems that I've submitted over and over and over again and only ever recieved an "honorary mention" award for one poem. These poems are, in my mind, too different from what the institutions which benefit from settler colonialism desire. They belong to people. I hope that they are read. If you read these poems, please get in contact with me at any of the social media I've put in the chapbook!
