Difficulties/Obstacles
i found snow to be super difficult to work with as i haven't really drawn it before. making this pack definitely helped me to understand it a bit more, but i for sure have a long way to go still lol

Theme and Restriction idea(s) for the next jam
pastel or neon colours, 16x16, spring theme, cats!

Fantastic job! Great wintery colors. I especially like your trees, the right amount of clarity and details.

It is cute, it is beautiful, it is wonderful!

... but i for sure have a long way to go still lol

Don't lower your skills/abilities.... It is your first pack on itch and it looks very professionally. Maybe the way is long but I think you are definitely further than all other submitters of this jam. It is my favorite on this jam!

The only thing I can criticize is amount of colors. In the sense isn't 261 colors too much? No but in this case I think yes. Just by looking at the image I could expect 70 colors (which is still much) at max...

Developer

thank you very much for the feedback!
i agree, there are definitely too many colours. i made the pack with software that isn't really made for pixel art so i think i ended up with a lot of super similar colours. i'm hoping to do better in the next jam because i've bought aseprite now! :D

Hope you will be satisfied with your purchase. Because exist some other variants: compile aseprite from code (which isn't difficult but usually used by developers) download libresprite (which is more than enough to get acquainted with the program)
