- The GDD could of used some more visuals and graphics, it was also missing theme interpretation, controls and table of contents. As for the game itself: I died pretty quickly on first try and the only way for me to retry was to reload the page. The movement of the ghost and furniture was smooth and fluid, the possession mechanic was nicely done. I did wish there was some noticeable difference between the different furniture when you posses them (if there was I couldn't tell). The game did lack a menu, so no volume control, but this is one of the few cases where I didn't mind it, because the background music and the SFX were extremely well done. The music was beautiful. And the art... The pixel art was beautiful, the ghost especially was well made. I felt like you had the right core, but the gameplay itself needs a bit more work. I also couldn't figure out what to do with the $.

Summarise your game!
Please, Leave My House is an arcade-style brawler about attacking paranormal investigators that have invaded your mansion. Possess your furniture, aim, and launch yourself at high speeds! But don't let them see you, or they'll whither you away... how long will you survive?
The ghost is controlled with wasd. Click furniture to possess it. Press and hold q to launch the furniture towards the mouse. Click enemies when close and while in the wardrobe to trap them (once per round).
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
In this game, when you possess furniture, you ARE the weapon. The furniture does nothing without the player. As a ghost, you are slow-moving and exposed with no method to defend yourself- but when possessing furniture, you gain the ability to build up momentum and hurl yourself at enemies, effectively becoming a lethal weapon.

The mechanic is easy to understand and fun! I like when you can throw yourself to the human haha, I think if there are some animations when that happens, it would be more fun!
One thing I noticed is that sometime when I throw myself to a human, he would not get killed, is there a speed limitation or what? Also I don't get healed when I'm in a furniture, is it happens in some specific furnitures?
Hey, it's Will, I helped develop the artwork and animations for this game! Thank you so much for playing and leaving a comment, it helps us a lot. I decided to make an itch account to help explain some stuff.
- More animations will be added! There will also be new furniture types and new mechanics, including more enemy types, an actual menu screen, and a shop system (hence why points are being scored as "$"). We just wanted to get a minimum working prototype out for the Game Jam and prove to ourselves we could actually make something together as a team.
- In this prototype, Alena (the ghost/player) does not heal.
- Furniture has a certain amount of health ( 1/1, 2/2, etc.) before it is destroyed. Furniture should heal to full health after every wave.
- Some of the furniture (i.e. the wide table) has bad hitboxes and can "phase through" enemies. This will be addressed after the Game Jam is over.
- There is indeed a speed cap; at the moment it's "all or nothing" so if you don't have enough momentum, you won't do any damage. This will be addressed after the Game Jam is over.
Feel free to ask more questions, and thank you again for checking us out!
Hello, I'm Gillian / Daro. I did most of the coding. For some more context on what Will said:
-The "bad hitbox" bug was fixed before the end of the jam- I had mentioned not thinking I'd have time, which Will probably remembers, but I ended up getting it done.
-Additionally, not every piece of furniture can one shot every enemy. The red lil guys and the yellow skeptics both have 100 health, and the big guys with the helmets have 150 health. The amount of damage a piece of furniture does is shown in the bottom right corner. With more time to work on our game, one of the first things we will do is add an indicator of enemy health
