  • Love the game. Really enjoyed playing it. The theme works for both parts. Especially with the shadow part trying to avoid the sun. Great work, will try the updated version after the game jam and do another review.

You were turned into a vampire. You are trying to un-vampire yourself. You heard you can do this by drinking an elixir of life. This game is the story of how you found the elixir of life.

Coool to see another game with dash mechanic, I liked the idea that I am limited on how far I can reach by the combo of my dash + sunshine exposure, this drew me in.  I tried several time to reach the cave. Unfortunately I also got stuck though with progressing in the story, puzzles are not my strength. If there was a walkthrough in the game design doc I would have liked to see more.

Really liked the aesthetic and writing in this one. Dashing from shadow to shadow is a fun thing to do while looking around. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to get more coins after buying the beet root, so I got stuck there. Cycling through items was a bit cumbersome too.

But overall, great execution of the idea, will probably try again to finish it at some point.
