- The game was very short. There was one attack. I turned an enemy into a gem. I collected the gem. Then I ran away until the music went off screen. I'm not sure if the game broke or if it was just submitted as is. Regardless, I like the premise of the game and can't wait to see it fully fleshed out!

Tell us about your game!
The player controls a rotating shield with their mouse to defend the core against enemy projectiles. Enemies spawn from shadows created by rocks that are hit by light sources. The player can switch over to a player that can craft items such as different light sources or portals which allow you to manipulate shadows and trap them in fences.
Extra Notes
This was my first time designing pixel art and music for any game. The code could have been better but its something that runs (I hope).

The music reminded me old 80s arcade games.
A countdown timer would have helped.
I think a more low-res art would have fit better.
Mouse/shield control was a little difficult
