  • didn't quite hit the themes for me, but a fun game none the less! I would try to optimize the weapons a little more. upgrading the saw blades made it so I could just stand still and decimate everything.

Nightmare Survivors is a roguelite game about surviving waves of enemies and collecting tons of xp.

In this game, you play as an apprentice alchemist in a dark, abandoned castle. The castle is haunted by creepy, shadow creatures who attack you in increasingly overwhelming waves.

Collect alchemical potions, dodge enemies and survive for as long as possible.

Extra Notes
I started learning Godot three weeks ago and this is the first game I've actually completed. I'm so happy!

Its a pretty nice " vampire survivor clone" game

If you are continuing working on this i'd recommend focusing on performance improvements, as the game started to lag significantly once a bunch of enemies were on the screen.

Also, the game currently is not really a challenge, which is fine for the gamejam, but if you want to make it a proper game you'd want to add some challenge to it.

For a first game in godot, this is actually very well done. Good job.
