  • Nice to see you have something to see. just a shame that I can't do anything but pick up the key. on paper the idea seems interesting tho, and the art you have is nice.

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
Yes

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
Fez but shadows. A world that changes depending on whether it is in shadow or light. Puzzle game. Switches that transform elements, maybe in different worlds. Partial world switching by shining a light on objects or covering them in shadow.
Goal is to turn on the light and get out.

Controls are WASD for movement, spacebar for jumping.

Extra Notes
This is the first time we are making a game and we ended up running out of time.
Hopefully the rest is coming soon (tm)

Hey, like the others, I also didn't really manage to get out of the first room. I had a look at the GDD to make sure I wasn't missing anything, and I really like the idea and the approach to interpreting the jam themes, but I sadly couldn't make anything happen. :(

Also couldn't progress the game, room was empty after picking up the key. Would like to see the original intention on the progression of this game.

When the game starts I see a key and can move around but there seems to be no way to progress....
