- game is fun and looks, and feels great. did not hit the themes for me, but I enjoy the artstyle. I missed a short tutorial to see what the different potions did to get a grasp on that.

Exit the Sun is a vertical/side scroller time/run-based game about a shadowling who escaped the grasps of evil mages and must escape the planet before either the planet consumes or sun burns it. The shadowling must stick to the shadows and use potions forgotten by the mages to help ensure escape.
Extra Notes
It is very much a prototype game with so much planned for it. Please see the end of the GDD for developmental plans and updates. Much love. I've learned so much from this experience.

Nice work! I like the pixel art, especially the blob and the potions. The gameplay was fun and very intense. Having abilities like double-jump run out over time, and having to manage your inventory/pickups while escaping the lava added a fun sense of pressure.

It's really fun to move around as this little blob! It's a very cool game concept, looks quite difficult to master but I'm sure platforming pros will enjoy speedrunning this game!
