- Love the art style and love the concept in itself, it's clever and it's something that I would love to play. Currently the game is just about picking funny stories and uploading them to gain points and with no way to spend the points, it eventually loses it's charm. I also don't see a relation to the alchemy theme. I am looking forward to seeing where you take this! Keep up the good work!

This Just In is a puzzle game about collecting information from multiple sources and creating news articles to keep your job and a hidden society happy.
In a one-screen game, players will be receiving emails and messages from work and the order of the chaotic zeal, a secret society bent on shadow domination and free will. The player must use the information from their job alongside messages from the Order to create news stories. Once these stories get out, the player is given points in the form of fake money. The larger number of days worked, the more money the character receives. The goal is to build up a following and be creative in the placement of messages with articles that you create.
Extra Notes
I am happy about finishing this game and going through with the jam, but at the same time, I am not entirely proud of this. It feels too rough for me as a submittable proof of concept, but life happens. I also learned about the importance of sticking to what I know best for game jams. At the end of the day, I did learn a lot and can carry that knowledge with me and I had fun. I'll do what I can to get on the leaderboard next time!
