  • mouse controls are inconsistent, rolling has no animation, no enemies, no actual gameplay, but, if this was your first attempt then good job, you got some basics down, practice more and see if you can polish this up in practice for next year.
  • Thanks for letting me play your game. I liked the outline you made in your GDD of what the game you'd like to make looks like. I hope you continue learning and can see your vision through!
  • The vision for your game is cool but you can probably tell the execution fell a bit short lol. In the future i would say shoot for a very small but functional and polished game, and then add more if you have time. Also never invert the mouse controls that was a bit confiusing

The idea was to create a Souls like game set in a world where you where a Apprentice to a alchemist. you one night experiment with the book of shadow alchemy and set loose a anicent evil in a giant explosion that changes you into a shadow creature. And it would be up to you to find a way to stop the evil.

you would go around a destroyed world kiling shadow creatures getting shadow essence and finding materials to lvl up on couldrens that would be like the bonfire mechanic. you would also have shadow abilities that you would use for combat and puzzles. and you would gain new ones after a boss.

Controls:
Wasd / controller for movement.
spacebar / east button on controller for dash & hold for sprint.
mouse / analog for camera controls.
