  • Great sound design and overall game style. Was difficult figuring out how the controls worked with the carrot/pig and placing things in the shop. Good implementation of game theme in a unique world. The game had an old school Zelda, or similar game, vibe that I quite enjoyed. GG!
  • potion making, store running, basic combat, dodge roll, good lighting, good job

Tell us about your game!
Our game is heavily inspired by the game Moonlighter. You collect resources from fighting monsters at nighttime, and come home to your shop where you can craft and sell potions.

We spent a lot of time working on it. Most of the controls are explained in the little tutorial. When you first get to the shop, go to the book. There is further explanation there about what to do.

Note that only health potions can be used by the player.

The theme fits with shadows being that the player traverses the forest at night and fights monsters. Alchemy comes from the shop side where potions and items can be created.

Capitalism Ho!

Really neat concept, I've not played Moonlighter but it gave me Reccetear flashbacks. The pixel art and animations are top-notch. The dungeon night elements are not too crazy without being too easy and the shop management is lovely, I really like the way npcs mull over their choices and give feedback like too expensive.

I would make it more obvious to go to the book and find out about recipes when you first arrive back at the store, it's not really obvious and a little more handholding on the first time is needed.

Overall super polished and cool. Fun stuff!
