  • I find that using a card system can be unique at times, so this game was interesting when it came to combining cards in order to create more, as much as the values could take away from the player as well. The feel of the game was a tad ominous, especially with the background music, so I enjoyed this mysterious feeling I got while trying to understand what each card was for. While this is the case, and I can see how you were trying to implement the themes as well, it also felt a bit tedious having to create bigger and bigger creations in order to reach a certain point (but maybe that's what you were going for). I guess, for me, I was almost instinctively looking for some kind of story tied to whatever purpose the cards had. Either way, I think you did a good job with this

Cool little card game you've made here. I really like how complex some of the recipes are, as it gives you the challenge of managing your energy in order to not run out. The tutorial at the start was very good at easing you into the game, where I ended up picking up the game very easily as a result.

Not sure if intentional but the game had a bit of an eery vibe which I felt worked with the art style it was going for.

Overall, great submission for this jam, good job!

Thank you so much for your time and your kind words! The eerie vibe was intentional and I'm thrilled to hear it was noticeable.
