  • Great sound design and game world. Need a bit more in game guide on what to do and how. Research resets when going back to greenhouse. Good ideas and theme cohesion. Wanted to play more and explore more.

Aurum: The Lost Gold is a semi-clicker game with a couple of diversions. The goal is to obtain all the upgrades in the tree and reach Pure Gold.

The game is divided into three main components: clicking, research, and a couple of puzzle diversions - namely, wordle and encounter-based exploration. All parts of the game are played using the mouse, except wordle which requires a keyboard input.

Extra Notes
If you need to save your progress, the greenhouse has a 5 second autosave. SFX Volume and BGM volumes are not saved.

It starts my research over every time I exit from that menu

It looks like a load() object got misplaced into the Greenhouse in the latest patch before the submission deadline, so it keeps loading default values for upgrades and resources.

If you’ve experienced the Wordle, clicking, and at least one adventure, you should have at least encountered most if not all of the mechanics.
