  • Not much involvement with shadows. Underground concept, but doesn't change gameplay. Art is fun and simple. Mechanics are difficult to do well. Took awhile before I understood how to actually make potions.

Potion Underground is a 2D crafting puzzle game where the player must balance exploration and hiding from the authorities in their less than legal potion shop.

Mix ingredients to make potions and sell them to afford rent, because even being a magical alchemist cannot save you from the crushing weight of wage stagnation.

Not convinced to play the game just yet? No worries. Check out our testimonials.

So without some indication why my potions become trash potions, i don't know what i am doing wrong.

I like the game's style and concept, though sadly wasn't able to enjoy it much because i couldn't figure out how to make non-trash potions, besides drinkable water :P

Also why you gotta be so real with the "crushing weight of wage stagnation", i am here to have fun xD

Thanks for the feedback! Potion discovery was definitely one of the repeat subjects that was brought up during play testing. I think that limiting the number of ingredients you have to play with at the start will significantly improve the experience.
