Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous.

  • playable, with multiple powerups and no softlocking, solid base here. it needs a lot of refinement, in terms of both level design and feedback for using powerups and stuff like the toaster gun ammunition. a strong UI and Sound design direction here would strengthen this entry immensely.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
In the game you play as a character name Ron who is having an odd day at work. During his routine morning bathroom break an outbreak begins that is turning his coworkers into bagels! You must fight through randomized floor levels to reach the CEO on the 10th floor, using various bagel related power ups like a Toaster Gun, Lox, and a Spreading Tool against the bagel onslaught looking to convert you and your other coworkers, to fight the CEO who is a... Bagel Wizard??

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?

Extra Notes
I've added it so that the game can be played in full screen but should there be any issues trying to play on itch.io, I've also hosted the game here:

Haha! I got to the CEO and won. The boss fight at the end was a nice touch. I also appreciated the random generation of levels. That is so hard to do and I ran into no problems coming across an unwinable floor so well done.  If I had one piece of feedback it is the controls felt a bit sticky at times. For instance if I was holding up and then let go and tried to go left to quickly my character would not move, so I had to let go of the left button and push it down again to start going. I only bring this up because when the controls freeze and your being chased by a killer bagel, it causes a panic haha. But really unique concept for the jam and I had fun playing.
