  • This game has plenty of potential, however in its current form it is quite boring. Its just pressing computers and hitting hack, then hitting end turn. Also, there is no way to trigger the warning/alert system. If there was audio/music, it was too quite for me to actually hear and without a settings menu there was no way to make it louder. I did enjoy the visual style and how it changes between the physical view and network view.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
Setting:
You play as a netrunner who is hacking their way through a target, corporate network in a cyberpunk themed setting.

Controls:
WASD - Move camera
Mouse scroll wheel - Zoom
Q & E - Rotate the map/camera
TAB - Swap between physical view and network view

Click on things to open their UI and either hack things you don't yet control, or abandon devices and give them up. You can only move to connected devices. Wires are shown between devices, but some devices also interface with a wireless network, requiring control over the wireless router to access.

Please note, if you abandon all devices, you must restart the application to be able to interact with the mechanics again.

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
This game does not have a fully implemented game loop, it is not a fully functioning prototype of the idea we had in mind, however it does have some functionality.

Hey, your idea looked very promising to me. Sadly I didn't really know what to do.
