Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarize your game!
A little allegory about managing stress and unnecessarily keeping up appearances. Make sure your mom doesn't see your room being messy!
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
Sometimes it feels like everybody is watching you, waiting to see you make a mistake. Both your loved ones and strangers' gaze can feel oppressive and judging. We hide our imperfections in dark corners when we feel like we can't keep them in check, but is this the right thing to do?
Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?
No
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
I am not an artist. This is my first 3D project and my second ever game jam submission. All assets are placeholders.

The looker does come a bit quick, I was able to survive 2 calls with mom, I'm not sure if there is a proper win state or not. I think it was meant to be an impossible uphill battle, but I know that sort of theme doesn't necessarily jive with me. Still had a fun time, liked the alternate camera view for video calls with mom, seemed like a fun feature. I know you didn't get around to sound, but even some minor sound effects generated with something like jsfxr might have added a lot to the game. Sound does a lot of work to sell a game.
Thanks for your kind review. The whole thing is very unfinished, I only just managed to put together a stable version in the last two hours. Beginning dev with a full time job so I'm not unhappy with what I managed to throw together. Sound effects were going to be the next thing on the list :)
far too short and difficult to understand. You aren't allowed to win and you lose in only a couple seconds. I never did figure out how to clean up the trash. Highly frustrating experience.
Real shit. Learning a lot was the win this time around. Funny though that you made a different trash-centered game with a very similar name ^^
full disclosure: Upkeep was a name i initially pitched, but we changed it to Upcreek because it felt more serene, and less stressful, lol!
hahahh yoo that's amazing
