Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarize your game!
Arena Battle Champions: LIVE! is an autobattler where you manage a team of fighters who face hordes of monsters in an arena. The goal however is not to win the battles but to gain fame and money by creating the most spectacle and the best entertainment! The strategy is to try build a team that best meets the preferences of the crowd and any wagers that you choose to purchase. Higher scores mean more audience members!

Please explain how your game fits the theme.
It fits the theme because it uses the audience preferences instead of just winning/losing like a traditional auto-battler

Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?
No

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
We would appreciate any feedback- we are a new team of 2 developers just looking for additional advice on how to improve as game developers!

Playability:
Easy to understand and get into. Great implementation of an auto-battler here.

Theme:
Using the audience as a character that provides buffs is a great way to implement the theme. Definitely keep leaning on this.

Cleverness:
Making an auto-battler for this kind of theme is definitely unexpected. Tying the audience in as a character is great to see.

Artistic Style:
Art in-combat is consistent and looks great. The menus could use some work but that's alright menus are rough to make on short notice.

I love auto battlers, there's something so chill and relaxing about smashing two armies together and seeing the results. This particular one reminded me a lot of Heroes of Might and Magic.. I don't know if that's showing my age, but clicking the auto resolve feature in the older games yielded a pretty similar feeling to this game. If you're planning on expanding it in the future, it would be cool to see a "fast track" mode to allow speeding ahead through the early levels – I did feel it started a bit tedious before it got challenging.

I love the art style the fantasy style pixel art and unique characters all with their own personality. The mixing of heroes to create a good time was fun but I found combat to be kind of lacking in engagement once the team was made and battle started. The wager system was cool but I found myself with way more gold than I could use so maybe adding another way to spend money either as single use effects or upgrading heroes would be a good addition.
