  • Cool game! Unfortunately I don't really understand how this falls under the theme "It's Spreading", because the enemies aren't really spreading, they're following a predefined path, as is the norm for tower defense games.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
Potato Mash is a Tower Defense game where you defend multiple arenas at once.
Every 5 rounds you have to pay a quota, to keep up with the quota you need to unlock new arenas so that more enemies spawn to get more money.
There are 4 towers available: Wizard Tower, Crossbow, Cannon and Trebuchet. The wizard tower is the only one that shoots multiple enemies at once.
Controls are LMB to pick and place a tower.
RMB to cancel placement or RMB on a tower to destroy it and get all the money back.
Shift to speed up time
Enter to re-select last tower

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?

Extra Notes

Simple tower defense that works as you would expect. SFX is probably a must in a game like this, but gamejam constraints can make implementing SFX and music challenging! Some paper crumpling or paper rustling SFX would go great with the game visuals too! Fun!
