  • Nice game but pretty buggy. I somehow found myself constantly clipping through walls which made it hard to play.

Did you include your Game Design Document in your downloadable files?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
You're a blob trying to survive as much as you can as the level falls apart around you. Grab health and other powerups and work on getting the highest score you can while avoiding inevitable death!

Use WASD/arrows to move
Esc to Pause
R to Restart the game.
M to pause/resume the music.
Left mouse to spray an extinguisher
Space to attack to break nearby obstacles
F is a small aoe burst that can be useful in a jam if you alternate between F and Space!

Keep a look out for people you can rescue and boost your score multiplier!
Keep your health up with healing pickups, increase your Extinguisher power and recharge with ammo pickups.
If you're lucky, you'll get the Room clear pickup that sweeps away the smaller fires on the level.

For an additional challenge, see if you can beat the developer's high score of 600k!

Did you remember to include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Extra Notes
Y'all're cool. This is a first time venture for me and my friends. Zero coding experience and this is our result.

For a first outing in coding and game dev y'all did a great job! The game was really fun and controlled well, my high score was 64k, which I'm told is not that high in the grand scheme of things but hey it felt good.

Some things to do immediately is definitely update the music to be a bit less repetitive, and as much as spreading chairs was funny (definitely keep that as an easter egg if you keep working on it) adding more sprites would make it clearer what is happening. Also I'd say add more levels, where the goal is to save all the people.

Y'all should be proud of this as a first time game jam, looking forward to seeing what you do on future ones!
