Couldn't get it to run on my Linux machine via WINE (black screen) so this is a review of the web build:

It was a fine experience until after the third checkpoint, after which the difficulty, and the distance to the next checkpoint, became unbearable. The spikes right in line with the jets was frustrating enough, but the power of the jets seems to oscillate, and there are some jets where the low point is too low to get onto the next ledge, so i end up sitting there waiting for the jet to get stronger to push me high enough. Really kills the flow.

Aside from that, the art is nice and the sound effects are fine. The music goes from moody and spooky to just grating after getting stuck at the same spot for several minutes :|

Thanks for the feedback! First things first, just added a Linux build since it slipped my mind to make one, sorry, but if you want to give it another go after my reply feel free but not required to.

I guess it depends on the player but I enjoy there being at least one difficult part per character, which there is only one per on this level, but I am planning on making a couple more levels at least and there will be a simple introductory one.

As for the jets, they add a constant force to the player while in the hitbox, so there is no oscillating, however with it being completely physics based I can see how it feels that way. There is a cap to vertical (and horizontal) velocity so that you don't go flying out of control, so you really have to make use of your momentum to get over some of the corners. I made sure that starting from the bottom of each jet allows you to easily clear the height required. So instead of sitting at the top, you need to hop off the jet and use the momentum you get starting from the ground if you find yourself stuck at the top.

I never do art so thanks for that feedback for sure! And the music I agree, it was a last minute addition since I was running out of time and didn't listen to the full thing before submitting.

This was spooky! I really like the idea of having to turn the constellation back on. The jets are a little hard to ride sometimes, but exploring the environment is very cool.

Hey, thanks for the feedback! The idea didn't start off as a spooky one but it definitely kinda turned into that with the vibe lol.

P.S. There are sounds now btw if you want a non-silent experience.
