Nice! Environment wonderfully detailed for a quickly developed game. Good fit with Jam theme, but perhaps if the player must collect objects/artifacts, it could be something real, like sea life, shipwreck parts to build something like a sub, or if its is going to be something mineral, gas hydrates or manganese nodules or something. Would be nice to be able to leave the seafloor and swim, even if only for limited time. Thanks for Jamming!

- Beautifully rendered world!
- All judges agreed that the atmosphere in Underweald was the best of the jam. The visuals are enticing and feel alive, with lots of animation and good visual consideration of color, shape, and contrast. My favorite moment was finding the huge, fanged skull and realizing how big it was! At the same time, it is a bit disappointing that all the player can do under the water is collect crystals, the significance of which is never explained. There is only a hint of a dark mystery, which leaves players wanting more information about why they just collected those crystals. This is an opportunity that the game doesn't fully embrace. The controls and game feel are generally strong. I honestly wished I could have jumped or swam, to get different views of the beautiful environment! Finally, thanks for being part of Otter Jam!
