• There are alien robots in the woods. Am I protecting the forest or is that just the setting for a FPS? The environment was luscious and beautiful. I wanted the theme to be more closely tied to the theme of the jam. Can I hunt loggers? How about coal company executives? Lol.
• Feedback in case you decide to iterate: This game didn't really mesh with the theme too much, but it is surely fun as it's own thing. You may want to work on your level design to be less dark- you use light to guide players well, but the environment feels really murky on every screen I see it on. You also probably saw how I managed to beat the game over zoom- simply by exploiting the predictability of the AI's timing and it's inability to strafe around cover. I didn't need to jump at all. You could think of ways to change this in your design if you want to keep working on this!
