Description
"O Menino Que Se Apaixonou Pela Lua" is a soundtrack made with the image suggested by the jam in mind. In it I imagined a platform game with the aim of exploring a fantastic world. The game would have a reflective mood, like the game Limbo. I made a single song of more than 7 min, because I think the game wouldn't have stages, but environments that are returnable... So the loop could be done at different times in the game. I used Sibelius to write the score and I used Logic 10 as a DAW. Soundtrack made for Jam OST Composing Jam: CRUNCHTIME

Theme:

Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
This song has different parts and different moods. Each part of it can serve as a loop for specific locations in the game. I imagine that this game doesn't have phases, but regions of an open map. I think as I think of a fantasy game and reflective. I think it works well in that aspect.

This was really well done! Great job!

This is a beautiful soundtrack.  All the sections have their own characteristics, but it all sounds like one cohesive world. The pizzicato violins in particular gave that section a distinct atmosphere. That said, I would like a bit more variety in the different pieces, to really give the feel that I'm traveling to different environments.

The violins panned hard-right were a bit distracting to me listening on headphones.

I'm not sure how the looping would work in practice, but I'd be very interested to hear it -- it's a cool idea.

Great work!

This is a really cool composition, I just wish the instruments would sound a little more natural.

Some very nice melodies! I like the clarinet (?) in the middle part very much. Also good job with the panning L/R of some elements. I'm not much of an expert but this sounds like great production quality overall.
