Description
We went for an ambient orchestral feel for the tracks, designed for an adventure game. There are three tracks, each representing three levels of dangers: maybe something is coming, something is definitely coming, and oh my god it's already there.

We decided on some early guideline and then went our separate ways to compose, one with Ableton the other with Reaper.

Message from the artist:
Our very first try at composing from a prompt, from two beginner who came into music quite recently, we hope you enjoy our contribution.

Theme:

Runaway
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The soundtracks are meant to gradually push you to run like hell.

Great job using a common theme in different tracks. I think you managed this really well. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks a lot!

Really love how this develops into something huge. Good OST, like the implication of the runaway theme by each track increasing in intensity.

Developer

Thank you very muck, that is exactly what we were going for.

Nice work! I could really feel the rising tension between each track. I especially enjoyed the layering in "Maybe" and "Definitely," it worked really well for the something's coming effect. I also really appreciate all the different directions that the music explores in "Runaway."

Developer

Thanks, it really means a lot.

Oh wow, Runaway is great! I loved how wide and tense the drums felt. Nice job on all of the tracks though! Great collab!

Developer

Thank you!

Runaway is my favorite! Is this a collab? Then great job to both of ya!

But btw, so as to not make people confused, in future OST jams, you can actually make a project page for your music instead of using your game as a placeholder, you can see how in Lone Rabbit's website https://ostcompjam.alonerabbit.com/how-to-submit

All three are a collab yes, but my partner worked the most on Runaway, I'm sure he'll appreciate your comment!
Thank you for the tip as well, I was wondering why the submission was mixed up with some other jam submission, I'll try and fix that.

Maybe - Nice opening. It sounds like something is about to happen. It sounds uneasy and foreboding.

Definitely - I like the addition of the tremolo strings and then those bassy double basses. We've definitely moved past just foreboding now. It sounds like something serious is going down.

Runaway - Yes! The payoff is great. Love the percussion. I can really feel that we're in trouble now. Love how it all swells up around the 50 second mark. Then the piano and the guitar... nice! This one is really the best piece of the soundtrack. It's amazing!

Really well done man! A very enjoyable soundtrack with a brilliant finale.

Nice job keeping the increasing tension between tracks, I liked all of them!

Thanks a lot, that  what we were aiming for, glad it worked for you.

Well done on keeping the same elite motif across the 3 tracks! It's catchy
