Description
Eletronic music. The game would be an adventure-puzzle, like Samorost 3, Botanicula, or even RPG or adventure platform, like Ori and The Blind Forest. Each part of the track represents a stage of the game, or can represent a specific mood.
Reaper v6.4 was used to compose, along with several plugins.

Theme:

Runaway
Picture theme

How does it fit the theme?
The music is based on the a escaping journey of someone, who you can imagine as a warrior, prisioner, or just a normal citizen who had to run away from their first place. It is anxious and hoping. The second part is when this person arrives to a forest. A magic forest, with enchanting creatures, beautiful sounds of birds and a calm mood set by indigo komorebi ray of lights. You finally found youself as you walk through.

Although I like the vocal section in the first half, the second section was my favourite. I love the ambiance you created with the layers different slightly detuned synths, the bird song sound effects and bells. Its just such a cool shimmery, ethereal sort of aesthetic that has this relaxing, but also kinda alien feel to it.

Cool submission!

Very nice track, love the vocals! Good work!

Woooah! This is cool. It’s hard to say which of the two distinct parts of this I like more, but they both are really cool. Lots of interesting colors in the harmony with the choir (spitfire labs Micah’s choir right?) and then the subtle microtonal glitchy stuff in the second half. Nice work👍

The use of the voice to create a choir is very cool. I like how some of it has lofi elements while other parts sound like something Jacob Collier would make. Very interesting song.

Great job! That choir with a real human voice gives the whole vibe to the first song, I also really liked the ambient sounds of the second track, it reminded me of some of Animal Collective's work with those synths in the background making little noises :D

Very creative, the combination of the choir and the glitchy sounds! And then loved the end section, sounds microtonal to me!

Thank you very much!

Being honest with you, I just used two plugins slightly out of tune. I thought it sounded cool because reminded Gamelan someway, and made it charming.

Very unique soundtrack. Really nice job.

Some really interesting sounds here. In the first section, I really like how you slowly bring the track into focus as it progresses. Really like how you harmonized the voice as well. And how the xylophone-like (synth?) sound complemented all that.

I was already on board with the first part, but then it went into its second movement and I really loved all the tiny pitch-warble-like sounds. They sound almost a bit like record scratching. It's gives a very mysterious feel. It's almost like there are all these small creatures that appear and disappear all around you. Maybe even popping in and out of existence. Really interesting soundscape you've created there.

Great work!

Thank you for this comment. Very well analysed and put in words, especially about the "small creatures". You've captured exactly what I intended. I really appreciate this!

Walk, Forest, walk! :D

I love the vibe of this, especially the voice (is that Micah's Choir?). Also nice contrast between the two sections, and great work with panning L and R, something I never give much thought. Feels very immersive that way.

Thank you for listening and commenting!

Yes it's Micah's Choir. For me, the panning was a way to tryna catch the spacial amplitude of the forest.

I appreciate the compliment and feedback.
