- I love the idea of a cuttlefish folk, but the class does need a lot of tweaking. Constantly producing light is very powerful, and being weak out of water can be discouraging from regular play. The spell is quite powerful latter on, and since its once a day, it would be used sparingly. I don't think it would be much fun to play as it is, but with some tweaks it could be really cool.
How does this class fit the theme?
It lives in the sea so fits the seaside adventure theme

Thanks for the feedback. So make the light last 1+lvl rounds maybe once a day. And make the other ability once per level -1 but like progressing so that you can do it at each level as in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th ability all once a day when reached. Then you repeat 2nd, 3rd and 4th abilities reaching up to 8th but targeting 1d4+1 targets. Then remove dry sensitivity to make it fun to play, more balanced in light and more ability uses. This should make it more balanced and easy to play. Though it would still mean no hypnotism ability at lvl 1.
