I don't know what half the buildings do, but managed to figure out most of them. Metal doesn't seem to be used for anything that I know of, and I liked to put workers in the town center thing, but not sure what I got out of it.
I can see this sprawling out more with many more adjacent associates when you work one tile with a completed building.
If you press i you can pull up tile info that gives your the details of each building, you can scroll through that with the up and down arrow keys. Iron is used to upgrade cards by playing them to the blacksmith, playing workers to the townhall makes a tile draft appear quicker; I think teaching the game and making finding this information out more intuitive is something I would focus on more if I had another shot at making this game.
There was a lot cut to fit the scope of game in a month, a lot of tile combos and even a light combat mechanic against bandits.
Aha! I looked and you're right, I didn't know I could scroll down with the keys. I played again and got the monument in 49 turns. I understand a lot better now
