for some reason I couldn't install this via the itch io app on mac :(

I hope to try again on Windows later

Developer

Thanks for trying Smilex! Really appreciate that!

I dont really know what I am doing atm! Just compiled in release mode and uploaded the binaries, so might be missing important manifests? I compiled with an M-series Mac.  Ironically, the only success has been from my Dad getting it running under Linux. Hah hah!

First day back at work today, but will try and get is sorted! Happy Nw Year!

Did you make a .app directory with the contents:

- Content/

-- info.plist

-- MacOS/

--- ALL YOUR GAME STUFF HERE (executable and assets)

-- Resources/

and bundle that as a zip and then send?

Developer

Thanks Smilex!

I just downloaded the macOS binary on a different machine to test it. It does work, but it is a PITA fo sho... download it, chmod +x it... then located it in the 'Finder' and right click to run it with the 'Yes. I REALLY want to run this unregistered binary option'. Meep!

Thanks for the info above! No, I did not do any of that! I am going to look into it when I have got time. Part of the learning experience!

PS: I looked at your game, and a few in your Itch collection. Super stuff! I nearly missed getting to work on time cos' I accidently had started  raising a dragon!

I got a 15,000 score. Very fun.

Only problem with the game is the horrible sound when you stick yourself to an asterboid while having your shield up. My poor ears. ðŸ˜

Thanks for trying my game! Sorry for you poor ears though. Meep.

I should put in a ear warning ( or fix it! I am guessing the shield being up stops a death so we get lots of collisions and associated SFX. Maybe some sort of debounce is required for the SFX - we live and learn!)

Have a great New Year!
