What did this game do well?

****************************

I like how my block hitting the moving block will affect the motion of that block. The dust trail looks good.

Nice dust cloud and dust trail effect.

I think this game really handles the screenshake well--having it only take effect on the direct collision with the enemy is good at minimizing the potential for confusion (so long as the number of enemies stays relatively few and spread out). I also like the added physics on the collision that pushes the enemy back, simulating that the controlled square has more agency and is a real object.

I love the addition to fighting the opponent and the flash effect that occurs when defeating the opponent, it's a nice touch because it rewards the player even more for successfully defeating the opponent.

It is simple and clean, just showing different kind of effects a platform can add. Screen-shake on collision is nice.

The dust trail effect is interesting. It feels like skating on ice.

I like the really juicy dust effects when moving and jumping.

I like the tiny physics simulation when the player delivers momentum to the enemy, and it slides back a bit.

I like how the camera shake makes it feel like you are really hitting an enemy, even though it's just a box. The damage effects for the bullets were also good and made you feel like you actually did some damage to the enemy.

What could this game have done better?

****************************

I think the screen shake is little bit too much for a small and floaty block.

You cannot jump when you are on top of the enemy and it won't respawn after you destroy it. Also, I believe the flash toggle is broken, and the gravity effect is weird. Needs some improvement on theme design.

I think that the particle trails are a bit too dense for the movement and should be lightened up. I also think that the screen shake occuring with no sound effects attached feels a little hollow, and needs some kind of crash or break effect on it to emphasize the weight of it.

The dust trail feels a little excessive and could be changed so it would be related to the object's color. Also, I wish the game could be replayed automatically without having the user to refresh the page. If the game is developed into a fully-fleshed game, having a bigger map, multiple mobs, and a score and/or timer would be neat.

Slight screen shake when it falls on the lower platform would've been nice as cube looks heavier.

For the dust cloud effect, when the top of the cube hits the platformer above, the dust still comes out of the bottom of the cube instead of the top.

The movement feels slightly stiff, and the gun requires extra gamefeel as it pales in comparison to the juice of the dust effects.

The speed of the dust trails doesn't seem to match with the player's movement speed.

I think that the trail could be toned down a little bit to make it seem more like a trail from moving.
