What did this game do well?

****************************

The game was a fun survival game, where you had to collect 'water' to keep the player alive.

I like the how the resource and theme fit each other well. Since the character is a water droplet, the resource system is the water itself. And the resource system depletion also makes sense, when not under shade, water reduces quickly than under shade

So cuteeee. The sprites and the music are so cute. I love how you use water as a resource for it to survive as it is literally a water droplet in the desert. I like how you can shoot water as well. I like the way you guys use stars to score points.

It has good background music and inspiring resources system.

This game shows how many things a game can do with a single resource. Player needs to be really calculative to play.

Love the game style, cute yet filled with challenge.

The 'drought' is a nice game mechanic which is very true since our MC is a droplet, also does make the water reserve a precious resource.

There are a lot of factors that affect the 'water' (which is basically health) that need to be considered during gameplay. It creates the depth of the game.

What could this game have done better?

****************************

Couldn't understand why the jump changed after a certain amount of time, and when the game started there was the text that said to go back home, but it was a closed map. The player could jump off the map by going to the right and jumping over the wall but that created a softlock until the player died.

I feel like the rate at water reduces is too quickly and it makes player too conscious of the rate of water reducing. Maybe instead of water reducing in both shade and under the sun, only make the water reduce under sun and reduce the area that has shade. Also, it would be cool to add a lake or any other body of water as a way to refill water

The movement are a bit hard to control. I feel like sometimes it jumps higher than normal or maybe that's on purpose. Maybe also give the player a way to win? Would like to see the droplet reunite with the ocean or something like that.

The falling speed is too fast for the controller. This does not feel good...

Game became bit boring after a time. More rewards to the player would be involving.

The means to converse resource is subtle, as you can always converse water out, which makes it deplete too quick, indirectly makes the game very hard. Which becomes even more obvious since the game feature very limited resource elements

I feel like the control is not intuitive. Releasing the arrow key during mid-air would immediately stop horizontal momentum and falls down.
