What did this game do well?

****************************

I liked the game design of different ways to get stronger, with paying health to get more stats or spending mana to get more skill points. The first time i played it, I maxed attack and homing attack in order to 1 shot the enemies. On the second play I tried an attack speed mana drain build in order farm skill points as well as healing and spending my gold to raise my attack speed even more.

I like how the player can choose how to distribute their resources rather than giving the player a set attack, defense etc points. This gives the resource system more depth as the player need to think about how to distribute their resource.

I really liked exploring the different elements that the game had to offer. As the attributes starting picking up, it felt really nice to play, especially during the blessings. This was definitely a resource management game.

Game is rewarding to the player who spends time to understand how everything works. Overall its a good game with and nice resource system.

Very fun and intense gameplay, the run and gun style is pretty challenging.

Skill point is a really good idea, the base resource exist in all rpm games, also promote player to plan out wisely.

Replayability, Skills required to manage resources and powerup. A very simple Vampire Survivor like game, loved it.

Options for Resources are abundant. It was fun discovering different builds. Sfx are also well done.

Loved the tacos, they tasted good :D

The ability point/ character stats are a great idea. It can spark different kinds of playstyle(e.g. focusing on heavy damage yet slow movement v.s. swifty dogging the bullet to deliver a smaller consistent damage overtime )

I liked how there were numerous attributes and skills that you could spend your points on. It catered to different play styles which makes the game more interesting and enjoyable. I also felt like everything scaled nicely as you progressed. It never got too easy or too hard.

What could this game have done better?

putting mana cost into the e and r skills, and maybe make them better, because it felt like the best use for mana was to just spend it at the academy.

Making the attack a right click was very awkward for me and hard to use. Additionally, at the start I feel like it would be ideal to make the wave not start as soon as the game start so the player can distribute the resource properly at the start. Before the 2nd wave starts, the screen is paused so player can distribute resources so I think it should be the same for the 1st wave

I felt that it was a little imbalanced bc you mainly needed to focus on aspeed and attack, while the importance of having defense or speed wasn't really apparent.

I felt resource system is bit complex to understand.

The skill point resource is both its charm but also doesn't really reflect a lot in game, one way maybe give certain skill a requirement of certain attribute might help.

Controls could've been simpler. We are used to left click to shoot, but this uses right click. Balancing could've been better. Also, feedback when taking a hit would've been nicer.

I feel like the enemy AI can be better. Also, adding different type of enemy would add an extra layer to the difficulty.

I think adding different styles of weapons (not including the spells) would be cool
