What did this game do well?

****************************

It takes really good hand-eye coordination to balance the card on each other, definitely a skill that improves over time

The idea of stacking cards is really cool. The background music makes the game feel more intense. This background music went well with the theme of the game. The game challenges the player to find the right angles and weight. Using different angles and weights will determine if the card tower will hold.

I liked the base stacking mechanic, it was fun seeing how high I could take it. Or seeing the structures that I could make.

Very interesting game. I feel like I was really building a poker tower by my hands. I like the weight setting, it allows me to better build a higher tower.

The background music of this game is cool.

The game idea is very unique. I don't think I have ever encounter a card stacking game. The rotation control and slider is a nice implementation that help user to easily adjust the card direction. The game has its depth and difficulty of a real card stacking game. I really like the feature press enter to enable gravity as test how well you have played the game, it is something we don't have in real life as gravity always applied and for a game, we don't want the card to keep falling down either. Overall I really like the game.

Really awesome and creative idea. I like that you can stack and rotate the cards easily and the mechanics felt really nice.

I like this game. It did a good job on the use of gravity. And the score system is accurate in most times

Very unique entry that certainly has its charm and atmosphere despite its lack of apparent challenging gameplay.

What could this game have done better?

****************************

the gameplay is a little linear, maybe improve the difficulty by making the floor slanted or adding something that would make the difficulty change.

The game controls were pretty confusing for me. Sometimes clicking left mouse button would not give me a new card. It also seems like I can't move a card after I rotate it, which makes placing cards in the spot I want very hard. Sometimes when I press enter to test for gravity, nothing happens and I have no idea why. After I 'put' a card down using 'w', the card just starts flying away even when I set the weight to the max.

I feel like the controls could have been better explained, as it took me a little bit to understand how to play the game. Also, the floor where the cards were placed could have been more defined, as sometimes I found that the cards I thought were placed on the floor were not.

It's better to have a light colored background to make players see more clearly. If possible, in each new game, it can generate a random requirement like at least 3 layers or something else instead of letting player build totally free.

I think the interface of this game is quite player-unfriendly: sometimes you are not able to deploy the second block when you finish adjusting the first one. Sometimes you are not able to drag or edit the existing cards and hitting the enter won't work in most of the times. This game is barely playable and I strongly suggest you to fix all the bugs.

I think the music is very distracting for a game that requires precision and high concentration. The developer should choose a more relaxing music or no music at all. The physic is good but it has some issues such as when card are touching each other, a force pushes the cards away like it is floating in space which affects the gameplay. It is also nice to improve the graphics like actual using a card object to help player quickly realizes this is a card game. Personally I was having a hard time figuring out what the game is about without checking the instructions.

The only thing I could think of that might have enhanced player experience would have been after the base of the card structure is created and is determined the structure is stable, then the stability is immediately determined after each subsequent card placement.

There are some edge cases for scoring. 1. The card can be place on the top of the wall so I get like 10000 pts. 2. the card can be placed below the box so the card will drop infinitely and give me -1000000 pts

A cool idea but I feel does not convey depth as intended. It can definitely be cool when you stack correctly but it feels like the game lacks depth and emergent strategies due to its simplicity.
