The racecar idea was fun! The controls were a bit hard for me to get used to at first but I liked the challenge! The car sound effects go nicely with the game and add to the game feel.
I enjoyed the unique spin on a racing game, the controls are hard to begin with but as you play more and more they become easier to work. The mechanic of being able to conserve fuel by driving behind the other car is also really interesting.
I like this racing game, it also a minimalist game. The tire and gas setting is really interesting. It can avoid reducing gas and tire by following the opponent car which is a good idea.
This game achieves perfect balance between strategy and dexterity. You need to decide whether you want to take the lead or follow your rival. You will also need to decide when to pit. It's somewhat similar to the real-world F1 racing! (The racecar is somewhat hard to control but I believe this is designed intentionally)
i like that you're essentially just racing against the clock, the 'opponent' really isn't racing against you.
the idea of using drafting to add depth is a cool idea. it can be frustrating that you can overtake your enemy when trying to follow because your speed is faster.
I like the controls. It feels so hard to manage the race car during the first run, but after a lap or two, it feels good and smooth.
I like the gas station setting and race with another player.
It's a fairly unique game that looks and feels cohesive for sure.

What could this game have done better?
****************************
I think it was a bit hard to make catch up with the blue car and to reach the pit stop before running out of fuel or wearing out the tires. I would have liked more fuel or longer lasting tires to start with.
I feel like the game could have added some more ways to get back fuel, as I found myself running out even when driving behind the other car or refueling at the pit stop.
It is possible to make the track more twisty and add other vehicles to reach more depth. Also, It can add vehicle customization to get more fun.
The game is great, and I think the way to improve is to do more: you could add more collectibles or other factors that could impact the performance of racecar (such as the type of the tires).
no matter how much practice i get or how closely i follow my enemy, i cannot make it past the second lap without dying.
why do you have to run out of gas to die? i get stuck with no tire health left but still have gas and just have to run into a wall until i run out lol.
Perhaps more strategy(decisions about when to refuel/ change tires) can be involved. Adding more enemy car are good as well.
It will be better if a two-player mode was implemented. Also release the arraw key, I hope the car can drift a little bit rather than a sudden stop
The mechanics are a little counterintuitive; the opponent is more like a tool than an opponent, and it feels like you are punished instead of rewarded for overtaking them, which is counter to the core idea of a 'racing game'.
