I love how you took a classic game and add a twist to it that worked out well. I also love how the blue and red particles on each side looks, makes pong more pretty to look at. I also like how the scoring system is not depicted in numbers, but more like a tug of war score bar. It adds to the sense of competition very well. And I really appreciate the small detail of how the color of the trail of the ball depends on which paddle last hit it.
This is an interesting take on the basic pong game. I like how every choice in the game has consequences like taking over another player's paddle leave your side defenseless so player cant really spam that. So, the depth comes in the form of decision making
Using multiple balls is a really smart way to keep things fair while also adding in the skill element, since you have to keep your eye out for the balls while also making sure you can keep control of your own paddle. Super cool!
Super neat idea! I think having multiple balls really elevates the game and makes it a lot more frantic and fun. The idea of having to monitor both sides of the field and affecting your opponent is both novel and interesting. The particle effects are also really well done.
My favorite game, it has such an interesting concept and I got someone to play it with me locally because I was just that interested.
Good fun with friends
Controlling others paddle is a really innovative and cool idea!
I like the novel mechanic of having a player take over another player’s paddle. This creates extra conflict and tension.

What could this game have done better?

For some reason, pressing the left shift key and right shift key did not do anything for me.
Another suggestion would be to match the aesthetic of the score bar to the rest and make it more particle-y.
It will be nice to see how long the rally goes. That would make it more interesting and you can also improve how quick you can defeat the other player
I think that the game feels a little slow, possibly due to the combination of the current music versus the struggling nature of the points bar. Increasing the balls speed and decreasing new round time while also choosing some more dramatic music count make this go super far!
I'm not sure I was actually able to get the 'parasite' feature to work. This very well might have just been user error! But I never seemed to have any effect on my opponent, and the particles were only ever one color.
Sadly the function where both players swap sides is kind of broken. In addition, the pong physics aren't quite accurate, as the ball bounces normally instead of bouncing in relation to its angle to the paddle.
The game would feel better if added some 'juice'.
The game would have benefited from more game feel aspects. I think those things are important with multiplayer games.
