What did this game do well?

I really liked the bow mechanic, especially how you had to load in an arrow before firing. It adds a layer of depth to the game for being able to do damage. Also, being able to spawn in an ally that hits the enemies was really cool.

I think you guys definitely put lots of effort to design such an amazing game. The Ultimate move, which is calling a mate to help you out, is very interesting. The background music and sound effects excellently fit the theme. It definitely takes me some time to learn, but once you are able to skillfully control the player the game is definitely not very hard to play.

the assets & animations you used are really cute, and the UI for health looks super polished.

this feels like a finished game with the way you have fleshed out the idea. it is easy to see the potential for depth in strategy.

I love the map and sprite design and the player and mobs' animations. The game overall is enjoyable and fun. There is definitely a learning curve to this game as the player understands what the buttons and skills do.

Graphic is wonderful, game has loaded with tons of player depth elements

Enemy types are completely different and act on their own, level design is challenging

I like how assets are utilized in this game to make it feel smooth.

It looks very polished and feels decent to play, if a bit lacking in feedback when you hit enemies, etc.

What could this game have done better?

I think that some of the movements could have been done better, as sometimes I would get stuck inside of walls or the enemies and wouldn't be able to move again until they were destroyed.

Sometimes if you jump on to the top of your enemy you could avoid being attacked. Similarly if your mate landed on top of the player or the enemy, their attack cannot cause any damage. Besides, sometimes you are able to shoot multiple arrows after a single load. Not sure if these are intentionally designed or just some bugs.

takes a lot to load, aim, and fire arrow. this makes it so you're a lot slower than your enemies. this could be a good or bad thing tbh.

The player could have an animation when being knocked back because otherwise, it seems buggy. The instructions are also overwhelming initially and could be introduced slowly. A help button could also serve this purpose too. There could also be a slower progression to the game with one mob instead of two at once, so the player could understand what they're doing.

A bit too challenging, casual players may find it too challenging.

Guardian bot AI need some work as it may stag on top of enemy.

Check collision box and AI behavior.

It's not entirely clear where the depth is, plus it is clearly possible to run past most enemies and not fight at all. Overall there's so much jank it can feel like beating levels is more luck than skill.
