What did this game do well?

****************************

The sound effects that were chosen felt reallyyyy nice! And the visuals were simple but really effective and harmonious. I really liked the addition of the trail behind the ball! Great job!!

Yes. I love how you guys maximized the use of the one button input (holding and releasing for different purposes). The camera also moves up to showcase what is going on. Very unique concept using minimalistic shapes. The ball rotating movement is also very smooth.

Absolutely love the sound effects and the visuals of the trailing red shadows for the ball. It makes it very satisfying to play. Seems like you guys were already ahead onto the game feel theme for this! I also love the way this looks, very sleek.

The sound and trailing effect make the game very satisfactory and juicy.

I think this game is really fun. Once the player releases the button to shoot, the player hardly knows how many points the ball will get. This randomness is a very interesting and clever idea for a single button game.

The mechanics of this game was by far my favorite — it took a simple action like a ball moving in a circle and applied a precision aspect, as well as implementing a unique aspect of another ball flying across. All in all, it was a singular action that had a lot of complexity in terms of consequences and it was really intriguing to learn. The visuals were also quite pleasing to look at, which was a plus.

This game was very aesthetically pleasing. The animation and movement of the ball when it's charging up and as it is in the air is very smooth. The sound of the ball hitting objects works very well.

What could this game have done better?

****************************

It's kind of weird, but because it feels so good when you hit many things, when you miss it's almost also as dramatic in the way it feels bad/empty? It also seems that there's only actually a very small space for the ball to actually be released properly, so that was a bit frustrating :' ))

Not really sure how the points and lives system work. Maybe instead of having the camera move up and completely not showing the rotating circle on the bottom, you can just zoom out.

One thing I would love to see is an assist dotted line for the ball's trajectory for people like me who can't aim well. If you want to spice it up you can have different color targets that are worth different points.

Might adjust the life setting. It feels a little strange that the life is regenerated after a hit, since the game does not indicate that the ball is going back to a basket or something. I'll just limit the number of trials and see what score the player can get.

I think this game could put more targets on the top to make the ball bounce higher. I think it would be very interesting to see how high the ball can bounce. It would also be interesting to see the ball fall from a high place.

I find it hard to find much to be improved about this game - perhaps if the restrictions were a bit looser it would be easier to find something to nitpick about, but for a singular action I found it pretty comprehensive.

It would be cool to have the targets continue to spawn as you bounce up, and then have them stop spawning at lower levels..
