What did this game do well?

****************************

I liked how there was no clear instructions and that we had to figure out how to win the game ourselves. That added a challenge that had to be figured out within the time limit, which made me panic a little so it took longer for me to figure out the strategy to win.

Fits a minimal theme well and is satisfying enough to play, even though it starts off a bit slow.

Rock Paper Scissors - but no rules to begin with. Easy to play, easy to figure out, sound effects and clear object interaction.

The idea of finding which shape is correct is cool.

The audio effect enriches the game. They got different and appropriate audios when choosing, winning, even loosing. The human game interaction part is good. It gives me a direct popping up feedback.

I like how it's designed to let players figure out which shape can win/loss against another.

I like that you took a gamble on making players figure out the game for themselves. I think you could have made things a little clearer without ruining the 'figure-it-out-yourself' nature, but I still respect the bold choice. I also quite like the little bits of feedback like the audio cues on a successful pick.

Very easy to play. Fun once you figure it out.

This game let player figure out what to do and the logic behind the game, which adds some extra content to the game. It takes 2-3 tries to figure out how to win the game and the controls are intuitive.

What could this game have done better?

****************************

I did not understand at first that we were suppose to play against the player on top. However, that was probably part of figuring out the game.

The game does not explain its rules well and leaves the player to find out for themselves how the game works. In my opinion, the lack of skill expression/any kind of mastery curve is a problem and the game would only be fun once.

Randomize the assignment of rock paper and scissors to the shapes - enables replay. Life system so that users get time to figure out what shapes are what, instead of restarting the game. Tougher levels to begin with - 6 seconds is too long I guess.

It would be more interesting if the game has more patterns.

The game can change the font to let the text description part be fancier. (I would suggest Roboto). Beside, I think you can make the game using 4 options instead of 3 to give a new feeling on it. For now, it's like playing another form of Rock!Paper!Scissors!

I think the time can be shorter and shorter as the player wins.

Honestly, I think this game could really benefit from a little more randomness. Instead of there being a fixed ordering of what shapes beat what, you could instead have it change each time but give players more than one chance to figure it out. That way the game becomes more about quick thinking rather than just memorizing the order.

Maybe some instructions, but that is likely by design and that's ok. Maybe just make it endless and play for a high score.

I hope the game could add more difficulty by shorten the time limit and randomly switch the position of the shape.
