The combat system is really interesting and combining it with romance is a good fit. The game had a lot of content in it for a game jam, nice surprise!

- Thanks for joining our jam! I thought it was an interesting game, the combat mechanics were very unique. I did have a bit of trouble when switching info when playing non-fullscreen, since it would pause the game, but that's more of a browser issue. A different control, like Q, might have been better for that. Both the narrative and the combat systems were on point with the theme, great job using building connections both politically and mechanically. I enjoyed the dialogue and voice acting a lot, although a little bit disappointed that different dialogue options didn't really change the overall flow of conversation or affect anything. Some of the dialogue, referring to the player as player or main character, as well as the dialogue with the last character, felt a little too fourth-wall breaky, and it pulled me out of the narrative too much. Really enjoyed the story though. Visually, the game is great. I loved all of the character designs, the UI was well put together, and the environments and backgrounds were nice. The music and sound design was really good, matched together well with the game. The art style really complemented the game design, with the different styles of art between the turn-based battling and the dialogue that felt very much like a visual novel. Overall, the game was very fun to play, I had a good time with it, it was well polished. Looking forward to a more fleshed out version if you guys make one!
